Disney's Aladdin, Jr. Audition Workshop and Auditions
All Highland Junior High Students are invited to try-out for the spring musical.
Tuesday, March 15 - 2:30 until 4:10, audition workshop. You will be introduced to the character roles that are available and what those roles require. Audition sign-up sheets will be passed out. You must check your calendars for conflicts and make sure you are available for rehearsals and performances. Parent/guardian permission required.

Audition Workshop for Disney's Aladdin, Jr.
Audition Materials for Disney's Aladdin, Jr.
The company from which we are leasing the rights to perform Disney's Aladdin, Jr. has a great site where you can access script, scores, and character descriptions to help you prepare for auditions. Start preparing for your auditions now. We will announce the dates VERY soon. Audition workshop will be held after school next Tuesday, March 15, in the auditorium. Production dates are Friday and Saturday, May 20 & 21, 2011 in the Highland Junior High School Auditorium. The audition materials tell you what is required for each of the characters and chorus. We will be casting 30 parts from 7, 8 and 9th grade students. We will also be casting for dancers and chorus. You must be available for practice during the months of April and May, so check your calendars before you audition to avoid conflicts. You also need your parent/guardian permission. We will try to have as many practices as possible between 2:30-4:10 so students can access the student activity bus transportation, but some practices will be held later in the evening and on some weekends.

Study Trip Plans
Save up your allowances, Theatre Class! $30.00 is all it takes to see Hairspray at Beef & Boards on March 24. We plan to leave HJHS at 10 a.m. and will be returning at 4:30 P.M.
